Destination DC Media Guidelines

  • Please submit a media request form at least four weeks prior to your arrival to 라이브카지노, DC for domestic publications, and six weeks for international.

  • Destination DC’s communications staff may be able to provide background, interview opportunities, calendar of events, statistics or connect you with other PR representatives of hotels and attractions in DC.

  • Where appropriate, Destination DC’s media relations team may work with journalists to provide a customized itinerary. We do not hire guides nor may we always provide escorts, but Destination DC will be happy to provide you with self-guided itineraries and feature inspiration through our journalist newsletter. 

  • Destination DC does not pay for hotel accommodations for journalists. We work to connect visiting press with our hotel members who may extend an attractive media rate or in some special occasions, complimentary accommodations on a case-by-case basis. Since hosting decisions are made by hotel partners, Destination DC cannot be responsible nor guarantee accommodations. We do work to match each journalist with a hotel that best suits their story.

  • Destination DC’s priority is assisting working press. Host hotels and attractions are not always able to accommodate spouses, children and visitors accompanying media.

When filming on the National Mall including at the Monuments and Memorials, additional permits are required by the National Park Service. Tripods are not permitted near the U.S. Capitol without a permit from the U.S. Capitol Police. It is important to reach out to locations with ample time. National Park Service permitting requests require two weeks.
